This provides lasting sharpness with regular use of a sharpening steel or a diamond hone. One piece forged full tang blade from tip to butt for strength and balance. Taper ground blade, hand edged with LamsonSharps unique beveled edge, then hand honed for the finest razor cutting edge. Only the best rosewood from government directed conservation forests is used in the LamsonSharp Rosewood line and the Gold line has form-fitted Delrin handles. Handles are triple riveted with solid brass compression rivets for strength. The trademarked black dot center rivet, Lamsons exclusive mark of distinction, represents one of the finest knives in the world.
