Can I Cook frozen meat in Crockpot?

A common question while using a slow cooker for cooking is that, whether or not frozen meat be cooked in it. The simple answer to this is that, the frozen meat can be cooked in a slow cooker or Crockpot. But for that you need follow certain steps including -

• Add at least 1 cup of warm liquid to the stoneware first.
• Don’t preheat the unit
• Cook recipes containing frozen meats an additional 4 to 6 hours on Low or 2 hours on High.

If you can follow these simple slow cooking guidelines carefully, then cooking frozen meat in a Crockpot or slow cooker can no more be an issue.
