Slow Cooking Temperature Settings

Most of the popular slow cookers have two or more temperature settings. The temperature setting decides the cooking time of the food. There are two regular temperature settings with the slow cooker, high and low. Some of the models even have three temperature settings, viz. high, medium and low. His temperature settings determine the cooking time of the food. For instance, for all-day cooking, you can very well choose the low heat or temperature setting. For some recipes, you can turn the cooker on the high setting for the first hour of cooking and then to low for rest of the cooking. It is however, safe to cook foods on low temperature for the entire time.
